PENGARUH EDUKASI MITIGASI BENCANA BERBASIS HYBIRD TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN PADA REMAJA DUSUN PANJEN BANYUWANGI

Indonesia is a country that has the highest number of active volcanoes in the world. Reports on increased activity have been given since June 21, 2015. The Landsat 8 National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) satellite detected two magma vents, so that a major eruption is not expected. Incandescent material began to erupt on June 26, 2015 and a series of eruptions occurred since July 4, 2015. The number of fatalities, material and immaterial losses during volcanic eruptions was due to people who did not understand how to handle volcanic eruptions. The purpose of this community service is to provide education about disaster mitigation so that the community when the Mount Merapi disaster occurs will be ready. The pandemic period makes every educationand training must be limited, therefore this community service activity uses the Online and Offline method. In online activities, the provision of material is carried out through zoom and then followed by questions and answers, this online activity runs smoothly and gets very good enthusiasm from the community. The next activity is an offline activity, this activity runs smoothly which is attended by very enthusiastic respondents, the form of the activity is to provide disaster management training using VR. The participants in this community service are 20 people, the method used is Hybride or a combination of online using zoom media and offline lecture methods. In this community service, knowledge of Mount Merapi disaster mitigation was measured using a questionnaire. The average value of knowledge handling 60% of respondents did not know and 40% knew after community service was carried out most of them 85.7% knew about disaster management, and on knowledge of disaster mitigation before community service was carried out most 33.3% of respondents did not know about mitigation After doing community service, most or 100% of respondents know about disaster mitigation. The conclusion from this community service activity is that many people do not know about handling Mount Merapi disaster management, after conducting disaster management training using VR, community knowledge about disaster management knowledge increases, training using VR can be a solution in providing training in the era of the covid 19 pandemic. The obstacle in this research is the busyness of each member of teenager so that coordination sometimes feels difficult, so the solution must have an extra reminder from the researcher.
